Started at Salon & Skin Spa of Hazelwood: December 2003
Dr. Michael Brown is the physician and medical director at our salon. He specializes in Botox, Dysport, wrinkle fillers, laser, dermatology, skin cancer and photodynamic therapy.
Dr. Brown has been training and practicing cosmetic medicine since 2003. He has special training in Botox, Dysport, wrinkle fillers, IPL laser, CO2 fractional laser therapy, and scarless mole removal. Dr. Brown believes in personalized affordable therapy for anti-aging skin. One of the reasons he got into the field was what he saw as over pricing. We can offer more affordable procedures due to lower overhead and less advertising. We have relied on word of mouth resulting in clients from California, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Chicago, Boston, and the coast of North Carolina. He performs almost all procedures himself.
Dr. Brown was the first to bring photodynamic therapy for actinic keratosis and acne with Levualn to Haywood county. He has developed his own unique therapy for wrinkle fillers resulting in less pain and a smoother, we believe longer lasting result. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He also does a wide range of general dermatology including accutane therapy, and skin cancer removal
He prides himself on being approachable, casual, gentle, and somehwat of a perfectionist. He does not believe in the glitz, rather the result!
